Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026.

This notice explains how Colossal Influence Limited handles personal information in connection with this website, creator representation enquiries, applications to the Colossal Commentary Network (CCN), brand partnerships and related business correspondence.

Who we are

Colossal Influence Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07355999). Our registered office is 5th Floor, 167–169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom. You can contact us about privacy at social@colossalinfluence.com.

What information we collect

  • From brand and agency enquiries: names, work contact details, company or agency information, campaign proposals, budgets and information voluntarily included in messages.
  • From creator representation applications: names, contact details, social media links, publicly available content, audience and channel information, answers about representation, and other information applicants choose to provide.
  • From separate Colossal Commentary Network (CCN) distribution applications: names, email addresses, country, YouTube channel URLs, indicative viewing performance, video catalogue size and subject matter, rights declarations, details of existing Spotify or other distribution arrangements, and any additional information provided.
  • Where available, from website form enquiries: the submission page, answers to an optional question about how someone heard about us, and campaign tracking information such as UTM parameters. These do not always identify the true original source of a visit.
  • During commercial relationships: business communications, negotiations, commercial preferences and restrictions, rates, agreements, deliverables, invoices and related records.
  • From website visits: technical and usage information such as device/browser information, IP addresses, security events and cookie choices where collected by our website and service providers.
  • We may also receive relevant professional information from public business or creator profiles, referrals, and individuals contacting us on behalf of an organisation.

Why we use personal information

  • To respond to brand and agency enquiries, assess requests, identify potential creator matches and discuss proposed partnerships.
  • To review creators who ask for representation, contact applicants, and consider suitable applicants again where there is a continuing, justified business reason.
  • To review CCN applicants separately for video-distribution suitability, assess video and audio rights and potentially conflicting agreements, contact applicants about relevant distribution opportunities, and if appropriate discuss onboarding and terms.
  • To understand how enquiries reach us, assess website and campaign performance, and improve our contact forms and services using proportionate enquiry-source information.
  • To negotiate and manage creator representation, sponsorships, contracts, campaign delivery, invoicing and commercial relationships.
  • To maintain business correspondence and accurate records of negotiations, obligations, preferences, restrictions and previous work, including avoiding inappropriate or unwanted follow-up.
  • To protect our systems against misuse and keep the website secure, understand site use and operate cookies and embedded services in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • To meet legal, accounting, regulatory and dispute-resolution obligations.

Our legal bases

Depending on the activity, we rely on our legitimate interests in running a creator representation and influencer marketing business, taking steps at an individual’s request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, or complying with a legal obligation. Where consent is required for optional cookies, similar technology or a particular communication, we seek that consent. We assess these bases according to the specific processing activity; submitting a normal enquiry does not amount to consent to unrelated marketing.

Creator and CCN applications are handled internally

Creator representation applications are assessed internally before any representation agreement. We do not circulate unsigned creators’ applications to brands or marketing agencies as talent submissions. CCN distribution applications are assessed separately from talent representation and are not sold or submitted to potential sponsors. We discuss relevant distribution arrangements and necessary platform onboarding with an applicant before sharing creator material or personal details with a distribution platform for that purpose.

This does not prevent the use of necessary service providers that handle information on our behalf to host the site, deliver email, operate forms, protect against spam, or maintain business records. If someone becomes represented, relevant commercial and creator information may then be shared with potential brands and agencies as part of representation and partnership negotiations, subject to the representation relationship and applicable agreements.

Who may receive information

Information may be accessible to authorised people working for Colossal Influence and to service providers used for website hosting, forms, email, business systems, analytics, security and other technical functions. Business and campaign information may also be shared with contractual counterparties, professional advisers, payment or accounting providers, and authorities where appropriate and lawful. We do not sell creator applications.

How long we keep information

We do not apply an automatic deletion deadline to every email or business record. Relevant commercial correspondence, genuine contact histories, negotiations, creator restrictions, agreements and campaign records may be valuable for managing ongoing relationships, fulfilling obligations, preventing repeat mistakes and assessing future business opportunities. We retain personal data only while there is a documented, proportionate business or legal purpose for doing so, and review it periodically.

For unsuccessful representation or CCN distribution applications, we may retain a proportionate record to consider potentially suitable future opportunities or prevent unsuitable repeated approaches, while assessing whether underlying application details remain necessary. Information no longer required for a legitimate purpose should be deleted or anonymised. Contractual, tax, accounting, complaint and dispute records are retained as necessary under applicable obligations and limitation periods. Limited suppression details may be retained to honour a request not to be contacted.

International services and transfers

Some providers supporting our website, forms, communications or business systems may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we must use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards where required by UK data protection law. Applicable UK international transfer rules may require an adequacy regulation, contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer route. You can contact us for information about relevant transfers and safeguards.

Cookies and external content

Our website uses a cookie preference tool and may include analytics, anti-spam features, live chat, social-media links and embedded video or audio. Some services may place cookies or receive technical information. Where applicable, non-essential cookies and tracking require consent. See our Cookie Policy for information about cookies, their purposes and changing your preferences.

Your data protection rights

Subject to the conditions and exemptions in UK data protection law, you may have rights to access or correct personal information, request erasure or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, receive applicable data in portable form, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. You may also object at any time to use of personal information for direct marketing.

To exercise a right or raise a concern, email social@colossalinfluence.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
